Dr. Seelye’s family has its roots here in Whatcom County. His grandfather was raised on Lummi Island and his father graduated from Mt. Baker High School. Dr. Seelye is passionate about providing his patients with the best dentistry possible. An avid participant in ongoing dental education, he keeps up with the latest developments in technology and treatment that can improve his care for his patients. His commitment to family dentistry is apparent in his friendly, approachable style.

During his free time, Dr. Seelye enjoys rowing, fishing and woodworking, and spending time with his wife Connie.

Dr. Seelye is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry. From 1997 to 2002 Dr. Seelye served as an Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Washington, in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. He is an active member in the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Mount Baker Dental Society and the Seattle King County Dental Society.

Dr. Seelye takes environmental responsibility very seriously as it relates to dentistry. Barkley Boulevard Dental Care is the first dental clinic to be enrolled in the EnviroStars Program in Whatcom County, and Dr. Seelye is proud to be the first EnviroStar dentist with a five-star rating in Whatcom County. We properly separate scrap amalgam from our wastewater eliminating it as a source of mercury pollution in wastewater. We also properly dispose of their other wastes including photographic fixer used to develop x-rays. Barkley Boulevard Dental Care is a new practice with all of the proper pollution control devices built into our systems. Dr. Les Seelye has been instrumental in helping the EnviroStars dental outreach program get started in addition to his efforts in pollution prevention.
